Corlecti Extension Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 3, 2026. Applies to the Corlecti browser extension only — other Corlecti products have their own policies.
Summary
The Corlecti extension stores your data locally on your device. We do not operate servers that store your notes, we collect no analytics, and we cannot see what you save. Optional cloud features (account sign-in, Google Drive sync, Pro subscription) communicate only with the services listed below, and only when you explicitly use them.
Data storage
All folders, notes, API keys, settings, agent chat sessions, and usage logs live exclusively in chrome.storage.local in your browser. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly use an AI feature or enable Google Drive sync.
AI features
When you use AI features (agent chat, text operations, summaries, AI search), the relevant text is sent directly from your browser to the AI provider you configured — Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, DeepSeek, or OpenRouter — using your own API key. We never receive, process, or store this content.
Account, subscription & license
Signing in with Google is optional. If you sign in, our backend stores your account record: email address, display name, and plan (free/pro). We store nothing else — no notes, no folders, no API keys, no browsing data.
Pro subscription payments are processed by Stripe on Stripe’s own pages. We never see or store your card details; our backend keeps only your subscription status.
Google Drive sync (optional)
If you enable sync, your folder structure and notes are uploaded to your own private Google Drive appDataFolder, encrypted in transit and accessible only by your extension. Disabling sync removes the synced data from Google Drive.
Clipboard
The clipboard is read exclusively when you click “Paste from clipboard” (or press Ctrl/Cmd+V inside the extension popup). The extension never monitors your clipboard in the background.

Third-party services
The extension communicates only with the following services, each requiring an explicit user action. You supply your own API key for each AI provider; we have no access to your keys or the content of your API requests.

Analytics
We collect no analytics, crash reports, usage telemetry, or any other form of user tracking.
