about
A second brain, built by someone who needed one.
Corlecti is a personal knowledge ecosystem — a small family of tools that help you save what you read, see how it connects, and think with everything you already know. It exists because much of today's software is built to capture your attention and sell your data; Corlecti is built to work for you, under one account that belongs to you.
01 / why
Why I started
For years I worked inside paid apps and open-source tools, and something was always missing — a feature, a shortcut, a smoother way from the task to the result. I measure work in tasks finished per hour, and what I can't stand is "monkey work": you see a task and already know, eyes closed, every click it will take — open this, add that block, copy here, paste there. That kind of repetition kills creativity.
So I built my own small tools — mobile apps and browser extensions — to replace the ones I used, or to build the ones that didn't exist yet and that I needed right then. At first they were only for me. Then it seemed obvious: if I have them, why not give them to others?
Corlecti began with two of those tools — the browser extension and Map. Soon each one wanted to share its data with the other — and that is how one connected family was born.
02 / growth
More than productivity
Productivity alone doesn't make a good specialist, or a good life — for work to flow, you have to be happy and keep growing. But personal growth is as noisy as the tools: plenty of copies, very little that is chosen and best. So I studied what actually works, from Zen koans to modern research on how memory retrieves and connects ideas. The research that held up is what the tools are built on. Building the products makes me better, and I make them better — every product that improves lifts the whole family.
03 / direction
Where this is going
The skill that matters now is choosing — keeping what is useful and filtering out the rest. Tools that process data are growing fast; tools that decide what is worth keeping, and store it in a structure you can think with, lag far behind. So I build the tools I want beside me for the next decades.
What I'm aiming for
No monkey work.
If a step repeats, the tool should do it.
Chosen, not copied.
Fewer, better tools instead of another look-alike.
Grow the person, not just the output.
Built on how the mind actually works.
A memory for decades.
What matters to you, kept and structured, under an account that is yours.
04 / security
Security is half the work
Your knowledge is the most personal data you have, so about half of my time on Corlecti has gone into security.
- I never sell your data, use it for ads, or train AI on it.
- AI features send the model's provider only what they need. Map asks before using DeepSeek, which runs in China.
- The browser extension is local-first.
- HTTPS only. Refresh tokens and API keys are hashed; provider keys are encrypted.
- Servers in the United Kingdom and Poland, with OVHcloud.
